Suddenly on January 6, 2018, passed away in the line of duty at age 42, of Springfield, PA. For the last year and a half he has enjoyed sharing his life with Mary T. Kury, Matt was predeceased by his father Daniel and brothers Michael and Thomas, he is survived by his dear mother Janice (Thomas) LeTourneau, his sister Michelle (John) Ciano and brothers Mark (Jami) and Luke (Mary) LeTourneau. He will be tremendously missed by all of his nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and Anne M. Phillips.

Ever since Matt was a child he wanted to be a fireman ironically he was born during a firedrill at the hospital.
He is very much missed.
He was post humously ranked Captain.
He is dearly missed by all who knew him.
Rest in peace.∼Lt. Matthew LeTourneau of Springfield, Pa and an 11- year veteran of the Philadelphia Fire Department, tragically lost his life in the line of duty on January 6, 2018 while battling a fire in North Philadelphia with Engine 45. He was 42 years old.
Lt. LeTourneau, graduated from Holy Cross Elementary school and later Cardinal O'Hara High School in 1993. He received his Associate's Degree in Fire Science from Delaware County Community College in 1995.
