NEWPORT NEWS - Josephine Murray Danner, 87, died Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Hidenwood Retirement Community. A native of Gilbert, WV, she was a Peninsula resident for the past 54 years. Josephine retired from Civil Service, working in Inventory Control at Ft. Eustis in 1990 with 24 years of service. She was a member of Denbigh Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Melvin F. Danner. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Danner and her son, James Danner, and, her nephew, Jimmy Richardson, all of Newport News.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00pm, Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Peninsula Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Weymouth Funeral Home.
