Married first to George W. Doyle, M.D. in 1883. They had a daughter, Sarah Winifred "Hassie" born in 1884, married in 1911 to Edwin Adams and died in 1915; another daughter Georgia born in 1887 who died in 1907, a son, John Robert who was born in 1893 and an infant. Dr. Doyle died in 1908. She continued to reside in Albany, Missouri until August 12, 1921, when in Henderson, Kentucky, she married her cousin, Milton Remley. [Their mothers were sisters]. Milton had lost his wife on February 24, 1919.
Mary is buried in Grandview West (AKA Highland) Cemetery next to her first husband and children. Milton was buried next to his first wife in Iowa City, Iowa.
