Vincent Bartelli, 78, of 426 Douglas Street in Belvidere, Illinois, passed away on November 28, 1984, in Northwoods Health Care Center in Belvidere, after a long illness. He was born on October 6, 1906, in San Feli, Italy, the son of Carmen and Maria Bartelli.

Vincent had lived in Belvidere for five years, having been in Rockford, Illinois, prior to that. He married the former Catherine Armato on June 30, 1935, in Rockford.

Vincent was the owner and operator of Bartelli Grocery Store, located at 429 S. 5th Street in Rockford, for 34 years. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Rockford.

Vincent is survived by: wife, Catherine; son, Vincent and John; three grandchildren; great granddaughter; nieces and nephews.

Services on Friday, November 30, 1984, at Gasparini and Oliveri Funeral Home. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
