His parents were married in Hillston in 1895 and had three children in that area before moving to Junee. The children were William Harold (1896-1971 died at Newtown), Cecil (1899-1905 died at Junee) and Mary nee Mrs. Sidney W. Wright). Arthur (1911), Henry (1913), Annie nee McFadden (1913-1934. Died the same year as she married Anthony) and Albert were all born at Junee.
