According to 1850 & 1860 census Michael Dener/Danner/Tomer was born about 1805 in PA. It's said that he died 1865 in Worth Co., MO. He was probably a son of John Adam Tener/Tomer born 1771-1780 who's listed as Adam Tener in 1830 Twin Twp., Ross Co., OH, page 254. Nearby on page 256 Michael Danner is listed as Mich Donor and his widowed mother-in-law Mary Vance is listed next to him. In 1840 he's listed as Michael Dinar. In 1850 he's Micheal Dener age 45, Farmer born PA and in 1860 he's Mich Danners age 55, Farmer born PA. His grandfather Ludwig and family were last known to be in Allegheny Co., PA which could be where Michael was born. FAG 140290028 calls him Michael C Danner 1804-1865 and says he's buried in McCord Cemetery. But the biography on this memorial is "incorrect" in saying that this Michael Danner is a son of Philip Danner & Margaret Millheim of Stark Co., OH. This Michael of Ross County is very likely to be a son of John Adam Tomer born 1770-1780 in the 1830 census. Michael of Philip Danner & Margaret Millheim is listed in 1850 census of Stark Co., OH where his family lived. Therefore he can't possibly be the same as Michael Dener & Sally Vance in 1850 Ross Co., OH! The "name matchers" & "brethren buffs" can't accept the Donor, Dinar & Dener spellings so they're rolling these two Michaels together. They're also trying to say that Philip of Stark is from the Brethren Danners which is "incorrect" because he's actually Philip Jacob Danner 1763-1850 of the Teter Danner 1699-1759 family of Dover Twp., York Co., PA. Evidence indicates that our subjects father John Adam Tener/Tomer was probably a son of Ludwig Tomer 1724-1805.
