She retired as The Coffee Shop manager of Cleveland Regional Hospital.
She was an excellent seamstress, gardener and cook.
Charleen will be best remembered as a warm and compassionate person who was devoted to her God and her family.
Her famous meals included a special chocolate pie that neighbors and family enjoyed.
She will also be remembered for beautiful articles of clothing that she created and alterations that she painstakingly reinvented.
Her canned foods won awards at county fairs and praise from individuals who were fortunate to receive.
She loved nature, especially the flowers and birds that invaded her world! She raised beautiful plants and flowering beauties that she shared with everyone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Allen; her parents, L. Ralph Green Sr. and Ada Fowler Greene; and brothers, John L. Greene, Ralph Greene Jr., William Greene and Erastus Greene Sr.
She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, three sons, seven sisters, 14 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Burial: Beaver Dam Baptist Church.
