The body will be taken from Whitley's Funeral Home at 4 pm today to lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
Mrs. Brigman is survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Harry Harper of China Grove; Mrs. Luther Sides of Kannapolis; four step-sons, Gilbert Brigman, Will Brigman, Clarence Brigman, Luther Brigman, all of Kannapolis; three brothers, Ira Sherrill of the home; R.J. Sherrill of China Grove, B.R. Sherrill of Daville, Virginia; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Brown, Mrs. R.L. Smith, both of the home; Mrs. Newton Overcash of Concord.
Mrs. Brigman was a native of Catawba County, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Sherrill. She had made her home in Kannapolis since 1908 and was employed by Cannon Mills until her retirement 11 years ago.
Her husband, the late Butler Brigman died 15 years ago.
