Mrs. Henry Kottmeyer, 55, a resident of Marshfield all her life, died at 1:30 a.m. today at her home at 513 N. Maple street. Death was attributed to a heart attack. The rescue squad of the Marshfield Fire Department responded to the call.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. John's Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Hugh J. Deeny officiating. Burial will be made in Hillside cemetery.
The body will repose at the Rembs Funeral Home from this evening until the time of services. Rosary services are as follows: Knights of Columbus at 8 p.m. today; Altar Society, of which she was a member, 3 p.m. Wednesday; and the general rosary service, in which the Foresters and the Legion of Mary will participate, at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Kottmeyer was also a member of the Legion of Mary.
Mrs. Kottmeyer, nee Barbara Stangl, was born Nov. 29, 1895, in Marshfield. After the death of her first husband, Louis Pilsner, she was married to Henry Kottmeyer on Oct. 8, 1931, in St. John's rectory.
She is survived by her husband, four children, Mrs. Lloyd (Jeanette) Barton and Louis Pilsner, Wisconsin Rapids; Alvin Pilsner, Madison; and Donna Kottmeyer, Marshfield; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Charles Wein, Marshfield; and three brothers, John Stangl, Duluth, Minn.; Louis Stangl, address unknown; and Mike Stangl, Marshfield.
One sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
