Funeral Services are 11:00 AM Saturday, November 30, 2013 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Rev. William Menzel will officiate. Visitation will be at St. Vincent de Paul Church on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
Jeanette was born September 25, 1919 in Marshfield, WI to Louis and Barbara (Stangl) Pilsner. She married Lloyd J. Barton on June 28, 1941 in Marshfield, WI. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1987.
Jeanette was a member of the St. Vincent PCCW and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America for over 50 years. She enjoyed golf, reading, playing cards, bowling and watching the Green Bay Packers.
Jeanette is survived by her son, James (Judy) Barton of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; two grandchildren, Jackie (Tim) Johnson of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Col. James (Pam) Barton Jr. of DeForest, WI; five great grandchildren, Jennifer (Jesse) Kenowski, Drew Staniforth, and Sean, Nicole and Anna Barton.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lloyd; son, Michael; two brothers, Alvin Pilsner and Louis Pilsner and sister, Donna Regner.
Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers a memorial in Jeanette's name will be established at a later date
