Mary Herbst, 76, of Palatine, formerly of Peoria, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1993, at Plum Grove Nursing Home in Palatine.
Born April 7, 1916, in Highland, Pa., to Ignace and Frances Ptashnik Davidovich, she married Eugene S. Herbst. He died Aug. 22, 1990. Surviving are one son, Philip of Evanston; one daughter, Mrs. Norman (Donna) Bohrnell of Schaumburg; one brother, John David, and one sister, Mrs. John (Ann) Marshall, both of Kewanee.
Cremation was accorded, and burial of ashes will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
