William Dallas (Jack) Allen, age 79 of Estill Springs, died Tuesday, May 16,2006 at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma. He was born in Newbern, Tennessee and was an Administrative Assistant at AEDC. He served in the U. S. Navy in World War II. He was a former school board member, a former Franklin County Commissioner, and a member of the Tullahoma American Legion. He was -preceded in death by a grandson, Connor Reid. Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, June Allen of Estill Springs; two sons, Michael S. (Linda) Allen and Rev. Kim (Brenda) Allen, both of Clarksville; two daughters, Tina A. Maxwell and Cindy (Billy) Reid, both of Estill Springs; grandchildren, Scott M. Allen of Tyndal AFB, Eric C. Allen of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Kristin, Justin, and Kyle Reid of Estill Springs, Robert and Jonathan Allen of Clarksville, Jessica and Jackson Maxwell of Estill Springs; six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 19, 2006 at 11 am at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Joe Rutherford and Rev. Thomas Deramus officiating. Interment will be in the Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester.
