He is survived by his daughter, Martha Jean Baker Todd and husband Mitchell of Columbia, SC, two granddaughters, Laura Hardy and husband Brian of Columbia, SC and Julie Harris and husband Ken of Greenville, SC, six great grandsons, Caleb Hardy, Luke Hardy, Jacob Hardy, Jordan Hardy, Todd Harris and Jay Harris, two sisters, Ethelyne Baker Usher of Rose Hill, NC and Leathia Baker Lanier and husband Billy Ray of Hampstead, NC, three sisters-in-law, Louise Bond Baker, Inez Midgett Baker and Mina Hatchell Baker all of Rose Hill, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Felton was born on April 30, 1920 in Sampson County, NC to the late Evans Norton and Lonie Gertrude Anders Baker. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise Williams Baker, eight brothers, Norton and wife Lilly Jones Baker, Dorwood and wife Hannah Vaught Baker, Harland Baker, Anson Lee Baker, Ellis Grey Baker, Deford Baker, Bennie Baker, and Donald Ray Baker and a brother-in-law, CJ Usher.
He was a member of Poston Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School for many years. He was a World War II veteran having served his country in the US Navy and served 35 years in the National Guard. He had been a member of Gideons International since 1967.
