Katherine Evans Clark, 73, of 231A Pales (Cales) Addition, Carmichaels, died at 2:30 am Wednesday, November 8, 1967, in Greene County Memorial Hospital after a seven-month illness. Mrs. Clark was born March 25, 1894 at Pulaski. Her husband, William Flenniken Clark, died in 1957. She lived most of her life at Carmichaels and was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Stringtown Women's Club. Surviving are three daughters, Marie, wife of Harry Nicholson, of Carmichaels, Francis, wife of Sanford Clifter (Clister), of Carmichaels, and Dorothy, wife of Major H E Harrison of West Point, NY; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Mills of New Castle and Mrs. Thelma Stewart of Youngstown, Ohio; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.
