Mary Baker, 64, of Carmichaels, died at her home, Wednesday, December 10, 1980. She was born May 23, 1916, at Poland Mines, a daughter of Elmer and Christina Howard Murphy. Her husband, William Leroy Baker, died in 1952. Mrs. Baker had lived all of her life in the Carmichaels area and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carmichaels. Surviving are one son, Leroy Baker of Carmichaels; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Loretta)Teagarden of Carmichaels; four grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; two brothers, Elmer Murphy of Carmichaels, and Charles Murphy of Pontiac, Mich., and four sisters, Mrs. Edward (Edna) Varesko of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Teagarden of Rices Landing, Mrs. Edward (Silvia) Morris of Solon, Ohio, and Mrs. Thomas (Dorothy) Seni of Ohio.
