Juel C. "Hy" Heyland, 82, of Springfield died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Medical Center. He was born Nov. 6, 1909, in Virginia, the son of Edmond and Mable Kiekendahl Heyland. He married Ieleen Albert in 1946 in Denver, Colo.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Arthur and Howard Heyland.
Mr. Heyland was the owner and operator of Springfield Window Cleaning Co. until retiring. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Elks Club 158.
Surviving are his wife, Ieleen; one son; one sister; several nieces and nephews.
Services at Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
