THOMASVILLE | Pearl Warner, 90, of Britthaven of Davidson Nursing Home, formerly of Price Street, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, at the nursing home.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Fairgrove United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Gregory Gordon.

Miss Warner was born Aug. 3, 1913, in Thomasville to Robert Vance Warner and Delilah Lindsay "Mamie" Miller Warner and was a lifelong resident of Thomasville. She was a former employee of Hill Hosiery until she left to care for her mother. She was a faithful member of West End United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine Parrish and Cindy Bowers, and four brothers, John Warner, James Warner, Willia Warner and Jeff Warner.

Surviving are two sisters, Helen Clifton of Raleigh and Brownie Stutts of Newberry, S.C.; and a brother, Walter Warner of Thomasville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fair Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 204 Cedar Lodge Road, Thomasville, N.C. 27360 or to West End United Methodist Church, 600 Lexington Ave., Thomasville, N.C. 27360.
