He was a member of West View Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II, served with the U.S. Army in the Philippine Theater.
Surviving are two sons, Wayne Trent, Ozark, Ala., Mike Trent, Hickson, Tenn.; one grandson; one sister, Una V. Willis, Rogersville; Rogersville and Ned Trent and Carl Trent hoth of Columbia, Md.
Services were held Monday at Colboch-Price Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Stanton officiating.
Burial was in the New Life Cemetery.
