William M. Bailey, 76, of West Fallowfield, and for forty years a member of Octoraro Lodge, number 370, I.O.O.F., of Atglen, passed away in death at his home in the above township on Monday night. Mr. Bailey had been ill for a long time suffering from a complication of diseases.
Mr. Bailey had lived upon the farm where he died since the year 1851. Survivors are; his wife Mary Ann [nee; Davis] and three sons survive; James Davis Bailey, William Montgomery Bailey,Jr., and Harry Scott Bailey. A son Abner preceded him in 1890.
Services at his late residence at 11 o'clock with Reverend R.J. Holmes conducting. Burial in the Atglen Cemetery.
