William Montgomery Bailey, seventy-nine, 54 W. Main St., Mount Joy, died at 8:30 a.m. yesterday at his home following an illness of six months. Mr. Bailey, who was a retired Pennsylvania Railroad engineer, was a former resident of this city. He was a son of the late William M. and Mary Ann Davis Bailey. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mount Joy, and the Corn Planters Tribe No. 61, Improved Order of Red Men, of Harrisburg. He was the last of his family. (Lancaster New Era - May 25, 1943)
