Professional Hockey Player. A native of Peterborough, Ontario, Redding played for the Hamilton Beavers from 1920 to 1921 (OHA-Jr.). Hamilton Tigers from 1921 to 1924 (OHA-Sr.), Boston Bruins from 1924 to 1925 (NHL), Boston Tigers from 1926 to 1928 (Can-Am), London Panthers from 1928 to 1929 (Can-Pro), Minneapolis Millers from 1929 to 1931 (AHA), Buffalo Majors from 1931 to 1932 (AHA), and the Hamilton Patricias from 1932 to 1933 (OHA-Sr.). After his retirement from hockey, he became a senior caoch, including a stint in England during the 1930s, especially with the Richmond Hawks from 1936 to 1937 (BNL) .Redding also was Head Coach of the Hamilton Tigers from 1933 to 1934, and 1950 to 1951 (OHA-Sr.). Redding passed away in Hamilton, Ontario, on October 17, 1974, at the age of 71.
