Mary "Caroline" Hansen Wighaman, 85, a resident of Austin, Texas, passed away Thursday January 15, 2015 at Pflugerville Nursing and Rehabilitative Center.

Born on December 10, 1929 in Tigard, Oregon to Anna Mae Twiss and Wallace J. Hansen.

After growing up in Tigard, Oregon as a child, life led her to the Texas area where she married and remained a resident until her death. She had various careers, most notable for her Executive Directorship for the Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation in Fort Worth.

She is preceded in death by her beloved Husband, Robert George Wighaman Jr., parents, three brothers, and a half-sister.

She is survived by Five Children, Karl Wighaman (Judi) of Porter Texas, George Miller (Mike) of Georgia, Carol Hanna (Mark) of Northwest Arkansas, Gretchen Webb (Bill) of Austin, Texas and Adam Wighaman of Austin, Texas, four stepsons, Robert and Steve Maxon and James and Dennis Wighaman, grandchildren, Annalise Wyatt, Alexis Wighaman, Stephanie Wighaman, Ozzie Bock, Sarah Hanna, Erin Dunn, Casey Dunn, and Noa Miller, three great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, extended family and friends who loved and admired her. After growing up in Tigard, Oregon as a child, life led her to the Texas area where she married and remained a resident until her death.
