She was the daughter of the late W.F. "Bill" and Oma Dalton Burrow. She was also preceded in death by a son, Frank D. Chapel Jr., a great-grandson, Cody Campbell, and a brother, Joe Burrow.
Her husband Frank Dee Chapel died Febuary 9, 2013.
Mrs. Chapel was a member of Community Fellowship Church and a retired employee of Johnson City Medical Center Hospital where she was manager of the Cafeterium.
Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2003 in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home.
Graveside services and interment were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
