Her obituary is in the Leedy Obituaries in the Keeping of the Minnilusa Historical Association in Rapid City SD.
Peter Joseph Marnette married Sarah Enderby in 1882 in Fr Pierre SD.
They came to the Black Hills in 1888 settling first in Rapid City and moved soon after to Deadwood where they had resided since.
In 1900 they are in Deadwood Joseph is 43 born in France, Sarah is 40, Olive or Ollie is 19, she was born in Oct of 1880 in IA, Gertrude is 12 b in March of 1888 in SD, Sadie was 8, born June of 1891 in SD, and a son Joseph was born in Aug of 1899.
Sadie said she had given birth to 4 children and all were living but never the less I believe a daughter died in Rapid City.
It also says he married Sarah Enderby in 1882. She had a child Ollie Wilson from a first marriage.

She was survived by two daughters, Mrs Carl A Johnson in Deadwood, Mrs B.W. Whitehead in Los Angeles CA, a son Joe Marnette Jr in Ontario CA, a brother, ED C Enderby of Rapid City SD, and two sisters, Mrs May Smith of Rapid City SD, and Mrs Lizzie Wilson in San Diego CA.

Also survived by two grandchildren, one Jack T Regan is now serving in the US Navy and Mrs Jack Johnson of Deadwood is also a grandchild. One great grand daughter Beverly Jean Vines lives in Deadwood.

Mt. Moriah Cemetery records (on-line) indicate that there is a Mrs. Joe Marnette buried next to Joseph Marnette.
