James Hyndman and Jane Eager were married Jan. 8, 1868 at Leeds and Grenville County, Ontario.

Mrs. Jane Hyndman Dead At Age of 82
The death is reported on Saturday of Mrs. Jane Hyndman, widow of the late James Hyndman, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. D.T. Irving, 829 Sixth avenue west. Deceased was 82 years of age and had been a resident of Calgary for two years. She came from Grenville county, Ontario. The late Mrs. Hyndman was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends in the East and in Calgary. She was an earnest member of the Anglican church. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Irving and Mrs. Sam Gillespie, of Vancouver; one son Dan, of Vancouver; one sister, Mrs. Thomas Anderson, Toronto and three brothers, William Eager, of Morrisburg, Ont., Dan, of Ottawa, and Thomas of Hexton, Ont. The funeral was held at the Pro-Cathedral Monday afternoon, with Canon Robinson officiating. The pallbearers were: Carson Bradley, F. Supple, Wilbur Christie, Dr. T.H. Blow and George Hughes.
