James Hyndman and Jane Eager were married Jan. 8, 1868 at Leeds and Grenville County, Ontario.

HYNDMAN--The death occurred at Stettler, Alta., on July 25th, of James Hyndman, aged 67 years. Deceased resided at 408 Seventeenth avenue east, late of Mountain, Ont. The funeral takes place from Shaver's Chapel on Tuesday afternoon, at 2:30 p.m. Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Mr. Carr. Interment in Union cemetery.

The 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891 Ontario census records all show birth year as 1838. The 1901 census in Mtn. township shows birth date as Jan. 2, 1838.
