Mrs. Peggy Seaford, 83, of NC Hwy 801 S, died Friday, July 25, 2014, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
She was born April 10, 1931, in Davie County, to the late George and Cora Jones Jolly.
Mrs. Seaford was a member of Fork Baptist Church where she had been a Sunday school teacher, helped with vacation Bible school and was on the kitchen committee. She will always be remembered as a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Seaford of the home; a son, Tony Seaford (Brenda) of Advance; a granddaughter, Brett Boger (Chad) of Mocksville; two great-grandchildren, Jack and Kate Boger; one stepgrandson, Jeff Allen (Tara) of Advance; one stepgreat-grandson, Dean Allen; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 27, at Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Garrett, the Rev. Ken Evans and the Rev. Craig Seaford officiating. The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
