Mr. James Blauvelt, of West Andersen street, formerly of Closter, died early this morning, after a short illness. He leaves a widow and two daughters. Mrs. Blauvelt's maiden name was Catherine Ferdon. A sad circumstance attached to the death of Mr. Blauvelt is that he was very busy building a house almost opposite his residence and was anticipating occupying it early in September. He had also arranged details to enter into a partnership with Mr. David Darling. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
