CHUBBS, Marion (Hiscock) - Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, Marion Chubbs of Carbonear; five days before her 100th birthday.

Predeceased by husband: Bertram; son: James; parents: William and Frances; sister: Ada Otis; brothers: Fred Hiscock and John Hiscock; son-in-law: Robert Morrison; daughter-in-law: Philomena Chubbs.

Leaving to mourn: two daughters: Ruby Morrison, Virginia, USA and Yvonne (Albert) Parsons, Kitchener, ON; four sons: Elwood, Goose Bay, William (Gertie), Carbonear, Alvin, Foxtrap and Eric (Albertha), Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Olive Chubbs, Kelligrews; eighteen grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister: Winnifred Dawe, Toronto, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, water street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Saturday, July 8. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church and Cemetery, Carbonear. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear.
