My Beloved G. Grandfather:
William Leach was the son of David and Manerva Leach, he
was born in Claiborne County in 1832 and died about 1874 or 75, William married Elizabeth Hunter and had nine children, his sons were John C., Henry, James, Jefferson and George, His daughters were Rosa Jane, Barbara, Rachael and Anna Catherine, William is buried in the Hunter Cemetery near his wife Elizabeth. his exact grave spot is not known because of the removal of alot of the crypt type stones that were removed from the cemetery and used for the foundation of a house that sits about 200 yards from the cemetery.
