Mrs. Callie M. Bailey, aged 80 years, lifelong resident of Greene County, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Areford of Rices Landing, Tuesday, June 2, 1936, at 12 o'clock noon. Death was due to heart trouble and came after an illness of one week. The deceased was a widow of William T. Bailey, and was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Ramer. She was born in Greene County and spent most of her life in Cumberland township and in the Carmichaels community. Surviving besides her daughter, in whose home she died, are three other daughters, Miss Josephine Baily of Waynesburg; Mrs. L. A. Masters and Mrs. Andrew McClelland, both of Carmichaels. Another daughter, Mrs. Nellie Longstreth, died a few years ago. Three grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held from the Condit Funeral Home in Carmichaels, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. William Carr of Bentleyville, conducting the services. Interment will be in the Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
