David was born at Ballycraigie, near Larne, Northern Ireland in 1710. Came to Philadelphia in 1729 with William, probably on an indenture contract. Married to Isabell, possibly a Miller. He owned property near Martins Creek and across the river in Oxford Twp, Sussex Co., NJ.
