Ruth Gallion Casteel of Doniphan, Missouri, died Thursday, November 14, 2013, at her residence in rural Ripley County.

Mrs. Gallion was born in Oxly, Missouri, to Amos and Daisy (Wilson) Foulk. She was self-employed in real estate. Ruth enjoyed her dog, Wahya, horses (especially Ritz) and was a member of the Ripley County Saddle Club.

She was first married to Leonard Gallion, Sr. and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2006. She later married Jerry Casteel and he preceded her in death on July 5, 2009.

Surviving are two children, Leonard Gallion, Jr. of Dallas, Texas, and Terri Gallion of Onyx, California; one sister, Linda Trout of Broseley, Missouri; one brother, Ronnie Foulk of Oxly; and two grandchildren, Kyra and Andrea.

Visitation will start at noon on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with pastors Truman Chapman and Harold Condray officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.
