Madonna L. (Perkins) Wallace, of Saint Augustine, Florida passed away Monday July 1, 2013 after a strong fight against mesothelioma. She was born in 1947 in Pound, Virginia to Quiller and Ruby Perkins.

Madonna enjoyed quilting, genealogy, and traveling. She loved spending time with her family and her beloved pets. She retired after thirty four years of service in the glass company working for Anchor Glass and Coca-Cola in Jacksonville, Florida.

Madonna is preceded in death by her father; brothers, Bruce, Charles and Ezra Perkins and sister, Juanita Forrester. She is survived by two sons Joel (Renee) Studivant, Jacksonville, FL and Paul (Shandra) Studivant of St. Augustine, FL; mother, Ruby Perkins, Pound, VA; brothers, Johnny (Dixie), Mineola, TX, Ronald (Rita Jo), Mineola, TX, Edward (Paula), Mineola, TX, Roy Neil (Gail), Palatka, FL, Kelly (Pam), Saint Augustine, FL and Andy (Irene), Pound, VA; sisters, Janis Amerson, Jacksonville, FL, Lucille(Parnell) Bennett, Saint Augustine, FL, Helen (David) Kilgore, Pound, VA and Deborah (Ralph Thomas), Pound, VA; sister-in-laws, Anna Rita Perkins, Jacksonville, FL and Gail Perkins, Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren, Zachary, Tara, Lindsey, Lil Ruby, and Joel Jr.; six nephews and 11 nieces including a host of great nephews and nieces.

Services were held in Pound, Virginia Flowers are graciously accepted or in lieu of flowers a memorial donation in her honor to Northeast Florida Community Hospice for all of their support and compassionate care and/or any Northeast Florida pet shelter.
