Sidney Whigham, 55, of Lincoln, was called to his heavenly home Wednesday (6/20/12). He was born in Biloxi, Miss. on September 6, 1956 to Benny Cotton and Mary Inez Whigham. In 1960, he moved to Lincoln with his mother and brothers. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1975. Sidney started working at Goodyear in 1977 and retired in 2007. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include wife, Sandra; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Susan Randolph, David Whigham, Joyce Graham, Ricky and Michaela Whigham; sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Jimmy Jacobs; mother-in-law, Beulah Claypool; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robin Claypool and Carol Wilson, Rhonda Walker and Eric Walker; children, Damian R. Smith, Jason Claypool and daughter-in-law, Veronica Claypool, Sharonda Claypool, Darryl Claypool and daughter-in-law, Melissa Lawler; grandchildren, Cecilia Nelson Smith, Sydney, Sandra, La'Ria, and Rae'Von Claypool, Spencer Nichols, Ja'Rell and Ja'Quan Wheeler, KayAnna, Kama, Kevon and Kyllen Lawler, Kaylise, Kashell and Kurtis Claypool, Caleb Corey and Andre Johnson, Ja'Veon and Emmanuel Claypool, James and Alayna O'Herra and Mari Foster and a host of nieces and nephews.
