JAMES HENRY HARRISON, of Knoxville, one of the oldest Civil War veterans in Frederick County, died on September 24, aged 80 years. His death was due to a fall.

Besides his widow, who also has been confined to her bed, suffering from the effects of a fall, the following children survive him: William and Harry, Mrs. E.J. Holmes, Mrs. John Taulton, Mrs. Ida Taulton, Mrs. Gertie Lewis, Knoxville; Mrs. Flora Danner, Brunswick; Mrs. Ella Barger, Hagerstown; and 35 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.
