William H. Harrison, a well-known citizen of the southern section of Middletown valley, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Howard Leslie, Knoxville, Saturday, of tuberculosis, aged 69 years. Mr. Harrison was a shoemaker by trade and followed this occupation for a number of years.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leslie, at whose home he died, and Mrs. Lena Sheppard, of Decatur, Ala.; one brother, Harry Harrison, and six sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Lewis, Mrs. Anna Taulton, Mrs. Janie Holmes, all of Knoxville and vicinity, Mrs. Flora Barger, Hagerstown.

Funeral took place from the Lutheran church, Knoxville, Monday afternoon, services being conducted by Rev. W.F. Miller, pastor of the M.E. church. Interment in Knoxville cemetery.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lena Sheppard, of Decatur, Alabama; one brother, Harry Harrison; six sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Lewis, Mrs. Anna Taulton, Mrs. Janie Holmes, all of Knoxville, and vicinity, Mrs. Flora Danner of Brunswick, and Mrs. Ella Barger, Hagerstown.

The funeral took place Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Lutheran church, Knoxville with service conducted by Rev. W.F. Miller, pastor of the M.E. church, who officiated in place of Rev. H.C. Erdman, of Burkittsville, who was at his home with the grip. Interment in Knoxville cemetery.
