Joy Marie Smith 73 of Lincoln, NE passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013. Born in Weeping Water, Nebraska on July 19, 1939 to Don & Harriet Bickford. Moved to Lincoln at age four. Attended Riley elementary school and Northeast High school, graduated in 1957. Married the love of her life Clifford David Smith on November 2, 1958. Started as a Para-educator in 1977. Retired from LPS in January of 1999 (22 years).
Survivors include husband Clifford David Smith , Daughters & Sons-in-law Wendi Kay (Smith) & Randy Walbridge and Angela Joy (Smith) & Mike Nelson all of Lincoln. Four cherished grandchildren Ryan & Jenna Walbridge, Hanna & Evan Riner. Joy loved her home and family unconditionally.
Preceded in death by parents, Don & Harriet Bickford, and Sister Pat Wart.

Visitation will be Sunday 9-9 and with the family present Sunday 6-8pm, and Monday 9-2.
Funeral Service will be Monday at 2:00pm at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street. Officiating will be Pastor Don Stewart. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
