Mrs. Sophia Gillett, mother of Mrs. George Smith, of this village, died at the residence of Mr. Smith on the twentieth inst. She was buried in Greenwood cemetery on Tuesday. Elder Klepper preached an appropriate sermon to a very large number of relatives and friends of the deceased. She has gone to meet the loved ones where death never enters.
