Schulter Woman Dies
SCHULTER(Special) -Mrs. Eliza Ann Partain, 84, died Sunday at her home in Schulter.
She was born March 31, 1872 in Madison county, Mo., moving to Oklahoma in 1915 and to Schulter in 1918 where she lived since that time.
She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Allie Johnson, Muskogee; Mrs. Myrtle Shepherd, Calvin; Mrs. Lena Arnold, Omaha, Neb.; Mrs. Martha Thiret, Seaside, Calif.; Mrs. Nita Northrup, Terre Haute, Ind.; and Mrs. Hester Sonne, San Raphael, Calif.; six sons, Jim Walker, South Gate Calif.; Wallace Walker, Alma, Ark.; Virgil Walker, of the home; Herman Walker, Schulter; Robert Partain Seaside, Calif.; and Roscoe Partain, Arvin, Calif.; two brothers, Dan Thornbough, Keifer; and John Thornburgh, Firebaugh, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Vallie Gilbreath and Mrs. Flossie Swafford, both of Arkansas; 34 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Methodist church in Schulter, with the Rev. John Foxton of Schulter officiating.
Pallbearers will be James Harrison, Melvin Harrison, Paul Johnson, Dale Walker, Arnold Sheppard and Vernon Hiltebrand.
Burial will be in Okmulgee cemetery under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Henryetta.
