Born in Bristol, she was a resident of Riverton since 1957. She was a graduate of Bristol High School.
She was an executive administrative assistant for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and for Armotek Roto Cylinders for more than 20 years.
She retired early, devoting her life to caring for her parents, her husband's parents, and her immediate family. Josephine had a passion for caring for her family and close friends, ballroom dancing, fashion, and especially her children and grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Carmen G. Esposito; her parents, Sebastian and Rose Navetta, she is survived by two sons, Robert Esposito and Richard Esposito Sr. (Donna); four grandchildren, Richard Esposito Jr. (Nicole), Michael Esposito, Ronald Esposito, and Adrienne Esposito; a great-granddaughter, Madelyn; her brother, Nardi Navetta; her dearest niece, Judith Truck; and many beloved aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close neighbors and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at Molden Funeral Chapel, 133 Otter St., Bristol. A funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at St. Ann Church, Bristol, with interment in St. Mark Cemetery, Bristol.
