Carmen G. Esposito of Riverton, N.J. passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at Cooper Medical Center in Camden, N.J. He was 84.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a resident of Riverton since 1957.

He was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School, (Banks Business College) and was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy.

He was an accountant for RCA/General Electric in Camden for 32 years. He retired early devoting his life to caring for his mother and then his wife. He had a passion for caring for family and close friends, Philadelphia sports teams, and especially his children and grandchildren.

Carmen was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Carmella DiLorenzo Esposito, and his grandmother, (Maria) DiLorenzo.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine (Navetta) Esposito; two sons, Robert Esposito and Richard Esposito Sr.; four grandchildren, Richard Esposito Jr. (Nicolle), Michael, Ronald and Adrienne Esposito; his great-granddaughter, Madeline Esposito; his uncle, Thomas DiLorenzo; his aunt, Yolanda Conti; his sisters-in-law, Rose Massi and Nita Bellesi; and brother-in-law, Nardi Navetta; his dearest cousin, Mickey Esposito; and many beloved aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and close friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25 and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26 at the Molden Funeral Chapel, Inc., 133 Otter St., Bristol, Pa. A funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ann Church, Bristol, with interment in St. Mark Cemetery.
