Joe Havner Tidwell age 91 of Danville passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Boonville.

He was born November 6, 1923 in Shark, Arkansas to the late David Lee & Cynthia Ann Havner Tidwell. He was an Army and Air Force Veteran and a poultry farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents; his precious sweetheart of 59 1/2 years, Lorene Tidwell; brothers, Floyd & David Tidwell; sisters, Retta Panus; Betty Pendergraft; and Ruth Hunt.

Survivors include children, Jo Ann & Larry Keith of Danville; Kathy & Richard Fryar of Dardanelle; Rickey & Cheryl Tidwell of Danville; Debbie & Floyd McInturf of Danville; Randy & Kim Tidwell of Delware; sisters Ruby Hunt of Modesto, CA; Wanelle Kimbrough of Russellville; Helen Rightnour of Modesto, CA; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Danville Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with grandson, Steven Fryar officiating. Burial will be at Shark Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the chapel.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Damon Martin and Dutch Creek Opry Band.
