Rickey Lee Tidwell age 64 of Danville passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 at Conway Regional Health System.

Rickey was born May 28, 1957 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Joe Havner & Vinnie Lorene Woodard Tidwell. He served in the National Guard for 11 years, he was a member of the Church of Christ, was Captain of the Dutch Creek Volunteer Fire Department, he loved spending time with his family, loved to cook on the grill for his family, an avid hunter, loved fishing, he was known at deer camp for his famous kitchen sink meal, and he loved doing wood work.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years Cheryl Tidwell; children, Jamey & Jessica Tidwell of Dardanelle; granddaughters, Halleigh Tidwell of the home; Kaitlynn Southard of Dardanelle; sisters, JoAnn & Larry Keith of Danville; Kathy & Richard Fryar of Dover; Debbie & Floyd McInturf of Blue Ball; brother, Randy & Kim Tidwell of Delaware; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kirby Rainey, Brent & Sandra Rainey, Nona Latham & Glen all of Casa; Mike & Melinna Moats of Booneville; Danita & Joe Harger of Waveland; mother-in-law, Jean Rainey of Booneville; a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, and numerous friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Chalyebeate Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Wells officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 9, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Shark Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Jamey Tidwell, Rick Day, Preston Keith, Kenneth Highfill, Kyle McInturf and Andrew Beachy.

Honorary pallbearers include Earl Ulmer, his nephews, and Dutch Creek Fire Department Members
