Two brothers: Jack Hall of Corning, James Hall of Avoca; five sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Fitzpatrick of Hampton Roads, VA, Mrs. Chalres (Dorothy) Simmers of Beaver Valley, NY, Mrs. Ralph (Margaret) Lewis of Amsbry, PA, Mrs. Rick (Thelma) Bliss of Lake Jackson, TX, and Mrs. Theodore (Lorraine) Clark of Corning.

"Bernie Hall got drafted into the Army. He told the girls [ Dot, Eve, and Lorriane] at the bus depot "not to worry because he didn't plan to stay in the army", so they worried even more thinking he would go awol. Not to worry he came home after boot camp as a sailor! He made it to Syracuse, NY where they asked for volunteers to join the Navy. He said, "no problem, much better than being on your feet in the Army".
