Old historic black (Colored) cemetery started sometime before 1900. There is no access except by footbridge through Selma Memorial Gardens. The Johnston Heritage Center has a list of the graves that were documented by the WPA. There were 60 stones that were readable at that time. Many of the graves were only marked by wooden crosses which have deteriorated.
