The Saints Monument is in the Woodland Section. The four faces of this statue depict four Saints: Matthew, Mark, Luke & John, accompanied by a short synopsis of what each Saint did. Matthew wrote the 1st Gospel, culminating the Old Testament prophecy & to prove that Jesus Christ is the Promised Messiah. Mark, wrote as the interpreter of Peter, proved Jesus Christ was the Son of God by his miracles & deeds. Luke, born a heathen, then converted by Paul, portrays Jesus as the Savior of the world, Redeemer of the Gentiles and friend of the poor in body & spirit. John, one of the confidential disciples of Jesus; present at the Crucifixion, Resurrection & Ascension. He bears witness that Jesus is the Christ, and believing, ye may have life.
