This message from one of my friend (Mrs Joy Buskin Calloway Robinson) states that Ms. Dorothy Bretz of Elbert, Alabama had requested:
"Could you please send me the e-mail of this lady's daughter - Ms. Bretz did not think she was a Catholic as she was the daughter of the Koehler(Scrathed out) or was it Kruger??
Both family heads were Lutheran Ministers - Mr. Kohler had been q missionary in Africa - He came to Elberta in 1911 and bought 160 acres - Gave some on the west side for a cemetery - He held Lutheran services in his home one Sunday - Mr. Krugar - also a Lutheran Minister held services in his home the next Sunday.
Ms. Bretz thought the Zollikofer's -Joseph and Marie were cremate and buried together. Their son son Henry died of T. B. - He was married to my aunt Ethel Hermetz - a Hungarian Immagrant.
The Zollikofers's were Germa and he said that he did not believe in God - He was an Atheist - The first I ever knew of such a thing - I was a kid.
Ms. Bretz' grandmother was Magdalene Swartz - Mother of Frank Swartz - Magdalene does not have a marker and Ms. Bretz asked me to help her get one. - I don't know her birth date or when she died."
