I personally transcribed this cemetery in the 1980s or early 1990s. The two stones, cracked and laying on the ground were present at that time. I had seen the cemetery listed on an old topographical map and kept driving past where it should have been. Several weeks later I was driving on the road for another reason and looked at that side of the road just in time to see the four stones. They were just outside of a fenced yard. I knock on the door of the house attached to it. They told me about the stones on the outside of the fence on the other side. They also told me that they lived in what used to be a church and that the cemetery had been destroyed to make room for the fenced in yard except those few stones. I added the memorials for these few stones and then have added more as I have found other individuals that indicate that they were buried in this cemetery, and then some though analysis of the records were probably buried here. There is some indication that several generations of the Michael Dietrich family was buried here.
From "Our Dietrich Lines" page 17:
Several generations of the Dietrich family were buried in a family cemetery in Dietrich, which was at the base of Berry Mountain and was later deeded to the United Brethren Church in Christ along with a half acre of land on 4 Oct 1880. The church was closed and sold in 1965 and the cemetery was destroyed and buried. No records have been located.
