James Ratliff Reynolds md Almira Todd April of 1894. They had 2 daughters Edith and Mary. Almira died March 1899 complications of the flu. The girls lived off and on with their mothers parents and siblings, also spent some wonderful times in West Virginia with their fathers brother and sisters. James (Jim) worked hard & was with them whenever he could be.He worked on the railroad building track in CO, ID, & Utah. Then as bridge carpenter for the D&RG. Mostly on the D&RG lines.(Denver&Rio Grand).After a long visit in West Virginia then Kansas with his daughters and granddaughters he headed back to his work in Utah. He was living in Helper, Utah but died in the small mining town of Scofield where he was working.Massive heart attack.
